On Sept. 26 local time in Turkey, with the completion of the concrete pouring of the last part of the 2# cooling tower, the main structure of the two cooling towers of the Turkey Hunutlu project, undertaken by the Second Project Management Department of Henan D.R., has been so far completed as scheduled. Fang Jie, Director of Hunutlu Power Plant, Li Xiaofeng, Secretary of Party Working Committee, Zheng Hui, Project Director of OE (Supervision) Unit, Wang Aiming, Project General Manager of the General Contractor, Deputy General Manager Miao Mengxiao and other relevant leaders witnessed the realization of this important milestone on site.
In 2021, under the continuous impact of the Covid-2019 pandemic in Turkey, there was a shortage of operating personnel due to the synchronous construction of the 2# cooling tower and the #1 cooling tower cast-in-place water drenching components. Under the great attention of the leadership of Henan D.R., the Overseas Business Department and the Second Project Management Department quickly sent batches of Chinese workers specialized in the construction of cooling tower to the construction site to ensure that the main structure of the 2# cooling tower can be completed within six months after the main structure of the 1# cooling tower is completed. The construction progress and quality were unanimously affirmed and praised by the owner, OE and general contractor.
The project team will continue to adhere to the work philosophy of "standard and ingenuity", fully implement detailed and normalized epidemic prevention and control measures, further enhance the comprehensive on-site management capabilities, strive to obtain the "National High-Quality Project Gold Award", spare no efforts to make Hunutlu project the Mediterranean Pearl Project, and promote the overseas business development of Henan D.R..
