On December 1st, Chairman Huang Daoyuan, Deputy Chairmen Niu Xiaochang, Wang Qingwei and Cheng Cunpan, Deputy General Managers Ma Xiangjuan and Zhang Junfeng, and leaders of Henan D.R. International Company visited Nigeria Enugu 15MW Self-supply Power Plant EPC Project for on-site inspection and guidance.
At the construction site, Chairman Huang Daoyuan inquired about the project quality, construction progress and the implementation of the planned nodes in detail, and put forward some requirements to ensure the quality, accelerate the progress and complete the construction tasks on schedule. At the special meeting, leaders of Henan D.R. listened to the report of the project manager Chai Xuefeng on the positioning and planning of EPC project, the external environment conditions and problem solving, the subsequent work plan and other related situations, and put forward expectations and suggestions based on the actual situation of the project. He also emphasized the construction safety of the project, required that the safety supervision and management must be guaranteed while accelerating the promotion of the project to ensure the safety of project personnel. Secondly, it is necessary to firmly adhere to the power generation target at the end of December, sort out the construction plan, check the potential problems, and ensure that the key nodes can be achieved as scheduled before generator unit start-up. The Enugu project should become a training base for overseas EPC project construction talents of Henan D.R.. It is essential to constantly summarize in the construction process and fully absorb the experience and lessons learned from the project in construction organization, design optimization, cost management, personnel organization, etc.
Chairman Huang Daoyuan firstly expressed condolences to the employees involved in the project construction, and fully affirmed their efforts to overcome difficulties, worked overtime, and promoted the construction progress with quality and quantity guaranteed. He said that the needs of personnel, materials, equipment and other aspects must be clarified. Henan D.R. will integrate various resources and vigorously support the construction of Nigeria Enugu 15MW self-supply power plant EPC project. The Chairman pointed out that as the first overseas EPC power plant project of Henan D.R., the implementation result of Nigeria Enugu15MW self-supply power plant EPC project is of great significance to construct following overseas power projects. The Project Department should accumulate overseas construction experience through the implementation of Enugu project, summarize the previous work so as to provide strong support for the future implementation of overseas projects.
