Henan XInzhongyi “Replacing the low-power units with high-power ones Extension Project is located in Changyuan County, Henan Province. It is the first unit in China to achieve “ultra-low emission” production in the central and western regions. This project build two 660,000 ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating units, of which the three main engines are products of Dongfang Electric Group.
The project won 65 provincial and ministerial-level awards including the China Electric Power Quality Project Award, Henan Province Construction Project “Zhongzhou Cup” Award, the First Prize for Excellent Design in the Power Industry, and the National Construction Industry Green Construction Demonstration Project in which there are 18 national patents; five ministerial construction methods; six provincial and ministerial scientific and technological achievements; 12 provincial and ministerial QC achievements.
