Qinghai Xining Thermal Power Plant 2 × 350MW “Replacing the Small Generation Unit by Larger One” Project is jointly invested and constructed by Huaneng Power Development Co., Ltd. and Qinghai Development Investment Co., Ltd. The project is located south of Baozi Village, Xibao Town, Langzhong County, Xining City, Qinghai Province. The project constructed a 2 × 350MW indirect air-cooled supercritical cogeneration coal-fired unit. The construction of this project commenced on July 3, 2014. Unit # 1 was put into operation on December 26, 2015, and Unit # 2 was put into operation on February 1, 2016.
The estimate cost of this project is 3.449 billion RMB, and the final settlement for the completion of this project is 3.210 billion RMB.
