In the morning of September 18, 2019, the Pakistan Easy Prefabricated Homes (Private) Limited, which is invested and established by Henan D.R., was inaugurated at Prime Minister's Office of Pakistan. Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Yao Jing, Chairman of Henan D.R., Huang Daoyuan, were invited to inaugurate the new company. A total of about 50 leaders were invited to witness this inaugurating ceremony including the special business consultant of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Abdul Razak Dawood, Chairman of the Investment Authority Zubair Gilani, Chairman of Naya Housing Bureau Anwer Ali Hyde, Deputy Chairman of Naya Housing Authority, Amir Aslam Khan, Chairman of CMEC, Zhang Chun, Deputy General Manager of CMEC, Fang Yanshui, General Manager of CMEC Fifth Complete Engineering Department, Li Kan, Deputy Chairman of Henan D.R., Cheng Cunpan, Director of International Commerce, Wang Zheng, Deputy Chief Engineer and general manager in South Asia, Zhang Guangfu, and officials from Federal Government of Pakistan and Government of Punjab.
Chairman of Henan D.R., Huang Daoyuan, delivered the opening address. He expressed his gratitude to the leaders present and said that the Easy Prefab Company, established by Henan D.R. Construction Group, would be committed to serving the Naya Pakistan Low-cost Housing Plan proposed by the Prime Minister. By investing and establishing the prefabricated housing factory in the Faisalabad M3 Industrial District, we can introduce China’s advanced prefabricated housing technology to Pakistan, build high-quality and affordable housing to improve Pakistanis’ livelihood, create more export exchange and jobs, and promote the economic development in Pakistan.
Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Yao Jing, praised the investment made by Henan D.R. Construction Group, and pointed out that the establishment of the new company not only solved the housing problem in today’s Pakistan, but also showed Chinese companies’ sense of social responsibility and set a model for Chinese companies. He encouraged us to keep trying, and write new chapter for China-Pakistan friendship.
At last, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, delivered the keynote speech. He specially thanked Henan D.R. for bringing such low-cost, fast-building new housing assembly technology to Pakistan, and pointed out that the quicker this new industry of assembly technology is introduced to Pakistan, the sooner they can provide houses for the impoverished people in Pakistan, which is of great significance to the promotion of Pakistan economy. The Prime Minister mentioned that through the factory invested and established by Henan D.R., the products can also be exported, which will help Pakistan expand export trade and increase foreign exchange reserves. At the same time, he also required government departments of the Investment Committee and the Ministry of Commerce etc., to provide investors with the greatest convenience, strive to reduce investors’ costs, and attract more private enterprises from China like Henan D.R. to invest in Pakistan.

The inauguration of the new company is a landmark event forHenan D.R.'s overseas development. It is an important step for our company in response to the “Belt and Road” initiative, and it’s also a practice of fulfilling the responsibility for Chinese technology to build low-cost housing, improve local people’s well-being and introduce Chinese technology overseas by giving full play to advantages of the company itself and meeting the development needs of Pakistan. It will promote local economic and social development and help build a community of shared future in China and Pakistan.
