At 10:16 on August 9, the main structure of the chimney outer frame of Inner Mongolia Jingneng Jining Phase II Expansion 2×660MW Co-Production Project, which was undertaken by The Second Project Management Department of Henan D.R., was successfully completed.
As a landmark building of the whole plant, the chimney has attracted much attention from all parties since the day of starting. In order to ensure efficient construction, under the working philosophy of "standard and ingenuity", the project department adheres to achieve the management goal of "factory first, leading the industry, satisfying the owner and zero complaint". Under the leadership of the project manager Ren Xinyu, and after day and night’s hard work under hot weather, the staff have managed to coordinate the work and solve problems like tight schedule, difficult points in construction and the impact of the COVID-2019 pandemic. Finally, they completed the milestone work with high quality and efficiency 37 days in advance. The successful completion of the project was not only highly praised by the owner, the supervision unit and the employer, but also established a good brand image in the power industry for Henan D.R..
Being solid inside and polished outside, the casted chimney with smooth surface has become a highlight project within the plant. It has not only created favorable conditions for the completion of subsequent works such as the chimney and coal handling project, but also laid a solid foundation for the Inner Mongolia Jingneng Jining Power Plant Phase II to strive for the "National High-quality Project Gold Award". In this critical period, the project team will work harder to deal with various working procedures, and complete the follow-up project with high standards.
