At 8 o'clock in the morning on October 31, under the joint witness of the owner, supervisor, general contractor and leaders of the project department, the Steel Structure Project of the 24th Beijing Winter Olympic Games Office Building undertaken by Henan D.R. Steel Structure Co., Ltd. successfully completed the first hoisting.
The steel structure project of the Beijing Winter Olympics Office Building is located on the east side of the National Stadium-"Bird's Nest", with 4 floors above the ground and steel frame structure. The building area is more than 2,000 square meters. This project is an important supporting facility for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
After the commencement of the project, Zhang Yongqing, General Manager of Henan D.R. Steel Structure, quickly organized human and material resources to process various steel components required for the project. All the departments closely cooperated with each other to complete the preliminary work of the project. In the process of fabrication, due to underground pipeline encountered during civil works excavation, the steel structure drawings needed to change, and the finished steel components needed to be redesigned and processed. The Henan D.R. Steel Structure urgently organized the technical department, production department, material department and production workshop to work overtime to deepen the original components a second time. The Covid-2019 pandemic is still spreading in Beijing, but the Henan D.R. Steel Structure has managed to overcome difficulties of pandemic prevention and control and limited power during production, and completed the first hoisting (an important milestone) of the project required by the owner two days in advance.
The Steel Structure Project of the Beijing Winter Olympics Office Building is another project undertaken by Henan D.R. Steel Structure in Beijing after the Phase II Workshop Project of Beijing Baiao Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. The completion of the first hoisting ahead of schedule has been fully affirmed by the owner and general contractor for Henan D.R. Steel Structure’s manufacturing capability and organization capability.
The project management team will spare no efforts and strive for perfection to build the project into a demonstrative high-quality project. Taking this as an opportunity, Henna D.R. Steel Structure will further expand the Beijing market.
