On December 10th, China Construction Industry Association held the 2023 Annual Industry Technical Innovation Conference and the 2022~2023 China Construction Engineering Luban Prize (National High Quality Project) Awards Ceremony at Beijing Conference Center. A total of 246 projects winning Luban Prize were ceremoniously commended. Among them, 127 projects were awarded Luban Prize in 2023. The Shouzhuo Park Residential Community Project, under the general contract of the group company, and the Zhengzhou Hangkonggang Railway Station Project, a collaborative effort in the construction of the new Zhengzhou-Zhoukou-Fuyang Railway Zhengzhou South Station, were both awarded with the Luban Prize. With these accolades, Henan D.R. has now accumulated a total of 14 Luban Prizes.
At the award ceremony, the General Manager Zhu Jianming received recognition on behalf of Henan D.R. Construction Group.
The Shouzhuo Park Project, which won this prize, is one of the few (only 7 nationwide) residential projects in 2023 and also the first residential project winning Luban Prize in Xinxiang City.
The Shouzhuo Park project is conceived to meet the needs of high-quality residential buildings from the general public, with the aspiration of creating a comfortable, ecologically friendly, and aesthetically pleasing green residential community in the style of "urban countryside." Guided by the spirit of the "Shouzhuo Park" brand, which embodies the principles of "people-oriented, embracing simplicity, adhering to integrity and innovation, and avoiding superficial cleverness," the project is committed to establishing benchmarks in the construction industry and serving as an exemplary model for contemporary living.
As the first new type of construction industrialization demonstration project in Xinxiang City, the Shouzhuo Park project comprehensively practices the concept of green construction, with a focus on "fair-faced aesthetics" and prefabrication. It pioneers the extensive application of fair-faced exposed concrete technology in residential projects. The successful implementation of prefabrication has earned the project the title of "Prefabricated Building Technology Demonstration Project" and "Green Construction Technology Demonstration Project" by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. It stands as the sole example project in Henan Province to achieve the AA-level rating according to the "Evaluation Standard for Prefabricated Buildings."
The Shouzhuo Park project has innovatively applied over 20 technologies, including a pure steel frame-eccentric bracing structural system, fair-faced exposed concrete composite exterior wall panels, large aluminum honeycomb decorative panels, and lightweight steel keel lightweight partition walls. It has obtained 13 national patents and three provincial construction methods. The project has been awarded 52 honors, including the "China Steel Structure Gold Award," "Henan Science and Technology Progress Award," "National Building Application Innovation Grand Prize," and "Henan Construction Engineering Zhongzhou Cup Prize." These accolades reflect the project's fruitful technological achievements and contribute significantly to the innovative development of the industry and the construction sector in Henan Province, earning it an excellent reputation in society.
The award-winning project, Zhengzhou Hangkonggang Railway Station Project, is the first transportation engineering Luban Prize for the group company. It was co-built by Henan D.R. Construction Group Steel Structure Co., Ltd., with the design subsidiary participating in the project design. Located approximately 6 kilometers east of Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport in Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, the station building covers an area of about 150,000 square meters. The project has been honored with several accolades, including the "Zhongzhou Cup Prize for Construction Engineering in Henan Province," "Henan Province Green Construction Technology Demonstration Project," and the "China Steel Structure Gold Award." The completion of Zhengzhou Hangkonggang Railway Station signifies the formal establishment of China's first cross-shaped high-speed rail hub layout, further solidifying and enhancing Zhengzhou's status as a railway hub and serving as a new driving force for the economic development of Zhengzhou city and Henan Province.
