On the morning of July 20th, Chairman Zhu Jianming of the Group Company, along with General Manager Feng Zhanguang; Vice Chairmen Wang Qingwei, Cui Xiangjun, and Zhang Junfeng; Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Supervisors Chen Baibin; Director and Deputy General Manager Wang Chunling; Deputy General Manager and Board Secretary Ma Xiangjuan; General Manager of Jingmei Curtain Wall Company Xie Guojie; General Manager of Voyage Co.Ltd Nie Yonghong; and Assistant General Manager Zhang Lan, visited the Saudi Arabia Kasim II CCGT Power Project for inspection and guidance. They were accompanied by Deputy General Manager and Manager of the First International Business Division Zhang Guangfu.
In the high temperature weather of 45 ℃, Chairman Zhu Jianming and his delegation went deep into the construction site of the Kasim II CCGT Power Project. They inspected the progress and construction quality of construction areas, including the gas turbine foundation, centralized control building, steam turbine foundation, chemical water , and pipeline supports. They also gained a detailed understanding of the challenges faced during project execution and extended their greetings to the front-line project team.
During the inspection, Chairman Zhu and his delegation organized and held a symposium in the conference room of the Kasim Project Department. At the symposium, Li Heng, Project Manager of Kasim II Project, and Yan Peixing, Project Manager of Taiba II Project, delivered detailed reports on their respective projects, covering project overviews, organizational structures, and on-site construction progress. Zhang Guangfu, Deputy General Manager, supplemented the reports by presenting updates on the development and market exploration progress of the First International Business Division in Saudi Arabia. The attending leaders were debriefed to the reports and put forward opinions and specific requirements.
General Manager Feng commended the accomplishments achieved by the First International Business Division in the two projects executed in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, he emphasized the necessity to continuously enhance on-site management capabilities, improve the ability to address uncertain risk factors, promptly optimize the material supply chain, and strengthen cost management competencies. General Manager Feng encouraged overseas project staff to focus on personal ability development during their work, and affirmed that the Group Company would provide outstanding employees with a robust development platform.
In his concluding speech, Chairman Zhu put forward the following points: First, we must steadfastly implement the overseas development strategy, strengthen brand awareness, and solidify the HENAN D.R. brand image in Saudi Arabia; Second, the construction site is the foundation of a company's development. "Good on-site management is about upholding the dignity of the Henan D.R.." We should plan ahead, fulfill contracts efficiently, and demonstrate the company's strength through high-quality products. Third, project employees should foster a overall viewpoint, become big picture thinkers, boost confidence, and achieve mutual success in project management, while also continuously improving themselves with an "expert mentality." Fourth, we should establish relevant systems to standardize management during the project implementation process. Meanwhile, we should conduct a comprehensive review and summary of the operational status of various systems in overseas projects to provide support for the smooth implementation of subsequent overseas projects.
The visit and inspection tour of Chairman Zhu and his delegation to the Kasim II CCGT Power Project in Saudi Arabia demonstrated the Group Company's emphasis on its business in Saudi Arabia. Moreover, it clarified the thinking and pointed out the direction for the project department's next steps. The project team will continue to conscientiously implement all requirements of the Group Company, focus on on-site management, concentrate on key milestones, achieve breakthroughs in challenging tasks, create high-quality projects, and provide impetus for the sustained development of the company's international business.
