Recently, the China Construction Industry Association released the "Decision on Issuing the 2020-2021 China Construction Engineering Luban Prize (National Prime-Quality Project)" and the Henan Construction Mansion project undertaken by Henan D.R. was listed among them. So far, Henan D.R. has totally won 12 "Luban Prizes".
Located in the Baisha Cluster of Zhengbian Industrial Park, Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou, the Henan Construction Mansion is a door-type building consisting of two independent towers, steel structure corridors and podiums. It is 91.10m high with 21 floors above ground and 2 floors underground. The top four levels are connected together by a corridor to form a symmetrical twine-towers building. The grand door-type building is in good harmony with the environment to demonstrate spirit of modesty and openness.
From the commencement of the project, Henan D.R. has set a goal to compete for the "Luban prize" and formed a special team for the project construction. Adhering to the construction policy of "applicable, economical, green, and beautiful", and implementing the concept of "careful planning, model leading, process controlling, and excellence-striving", Henan D.R. has attached great importance to the working procedure and process and overcome a series of difficulties to achieve high-quality. The five-level high double trapezoidal steel truss corridor with a weight of about 1,440 tons and a span of 57 meters was connected together precisely at one time and the aluminum plate ceiling at the bottom of the 1500 m2 steel corridor achieved reversed installation. The project quality can stand the test of macro, micro and time.
Henan D.R. has actively launched QC, construction methods, technological innovation, demonstration projects and other activities for this project. The Henan Construction Mansion has won 56 provincial and above awards including the first prize of Henan Excellent Survey and Design Award, Henan Construction Project Zhongzhou Cup Award, National Construction Industry Green Construction Demonstration Project, National AAA Class Safety and Civilization Standard Site, and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Green Construction Technology Demonstration Project, etc..
